Technical information: IP address, device type, browser, operating system

Directly from you, when you create an account, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter or communicate with us

From our providers (Shopify, payment providers, carriers)

Purposes of processing and legal bases

We use your personal information for the following purposes, on the GDPR legal bases indicated:

Performance of the contract (article 6.1.b GDPR): processing of your order, payment, delivery, management of returns, after-sales service, management of your customer account
Legal obligation (article 6.1.c GDPR): retention of invoices and accounting data in accordance with legal obligations (statutory retention period: 10 years for accounting documents)
Legitimate interest (article 6.1.f GDPR): site security, fraud prevention, usage statistics, improvement of our services
Consent (article 6.1.a GDPR): sending marketing communications by email (newsletter), placement of non-essential cookies

Retention periods

Account data: for the entire duration of your relationship with HOPER, and three (3) years after your last interaction (order, login)
Order data: ten (10) years from the date of the order (accounting and tax obligation)
Cookies: thirteen (13) months maximum
Prospect data (newsletter without order): three (3) years after the last interaction or unsubscription

Recipients of your data

Your personal information may be disclosed to:

Our technical providers: Shopify (hosting, store management), payment providers (Shopify Payments), carriers (for delivery)
Our marketing providers: email sending tools, audience analysis services
Administrative or judicial authorities upon legal request

No data is sold to third parties.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of your data may be transferred outside the European Union, in particular to the United States in the context of the use of Shopify. These transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, guaranteeing an adequate level of protection of your data.

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information: encryption of sensitive data, restricted access to authorised persons, hosting on secure infrastructure (Shopify, PCI-DSS certified and GDPR compliant).
