Why HOPER

Wherever the light is short, the heating is on, or nobody is there, living plants struggle to last.

HOPER was born from that observation. The same feeling, the same presence, recreated to perfection and freed from every constraint. A new idea of greenery, one that never fades.

Real touch

It fools the eye. And the hand.

To the touch, the foliage has the softness, the coolness and the texture of a real plant. No plastic feel, no dry crackle.

The detail

Veins, knots, irregularities.

Trunks textured down to the knot, leaves set one by one, deliberate asymmetries. That is what makes people step closer, touch, and refuse to believe it.

Neutrality

No scent. No pollen. No soil.

Our pieces settle in without imposing anything, including in a treatment room, a kitchen or a dining room.

What you will never have to do again

0 Water No water point, no staff to train, no soil to attract insects.
0 Light A windowless lobby, a basement, a corridor without daylight: the piece holds its presence there.
0 Replace No plant to replace every season, no maintenance contract to renew.

The house

Ten years spent keeping plants alive

We have lived from plants for ten years. First with By Charlot, which gave the plant back its standing as an object of desire, then with Herbarium, a pioneer of the French herbarium, and Green Factory, maker of terrariums shaped by hand in Paris.

Ten years choosing, delivering and caring for living plants taught us where they hold, and where they do not. Wherever the light is short, the heating is on, or nobody is there, what was needed was greenery that holds without asking for anything, and without giving up any of its bearing. HOPER came from that, and we follow every piece from the workshop to your door.
